Read more widget with Blogger (Expandable Post Summary)

Referring to picture above, your blog will be more structure if you able to display post summary at the main page of the blog. refer to picture above. when blogger first come to the world, it didn't provide expandable post summary for blogs. It need some technical skill to implement it, and some even screw up their own blog with changing code in their own template.

Now, blogger give easy way to make read more or expendable post summary like wordpress.com.


How to do that? OK, This features only active if you using new editor. You need to change your post editor to the updated editor. It can be change from the Settings tab> Basic, just scroll down until the bottom of the basic settings you will see Global Settings .

New editor is look like picture below:

With new editor you will notice the "Insert jump break" icon in the editor's toolbar. Click on the icon and a line of jump break will be inserted into your blog post.

And now you are done. your blog will have a expendable post summary at your main page.
